The stage is set for the 2011-12 MCC women's basketball tournament championship, after Friday nights semifinal results.

The MCC women's basketball championship matchup has been finalized. Following Friday's semifinal games top seed Indiana Wesleyan will face Bethel College in the 2011-12 MCC tournament championship.

All four top seeded teams advanced from the quarterfinal round of the MCC tournament. Semifinal games will be played Friday, February 24 with a 7:00pm start.

Indiana Wesleyan has already received the the MCC's first automatic bid, which is awarded to the regular season conference champions. In the event that the regular season champions and tournament champions are the same, the second automatic bid will go to the tournament runner-up.

Opening round games will tip off the tournament on Tuesday February 21, at 7:00pm. Quarterfinal games will feature several exciting match-ups. #1 seed Indiana Wesleyan will host #8 Taylor. The #2 Bethel Pilots will host #7 Mount Vernon Nazarene. #4 St. Francis will host #5 Grace, and #3 Huntington will host #6 Marian.
