DECATUR, Ala. - The 2007 NAIA Softball National Championship tournament opens pool play Friday, May 18 at the Wilson Morgan Softball Complex in Decatur, Ala. Play begins with four pools and 40 games in pool play - 20 on Friday and 20 more Saturday - with games slated to begin at 9 a.m. each day and the last start time of the day scheduled for 8:30 p.m. From each pool, the two teams with the best records will advance to the double elimination bracket, which starts Monday at 10 a.m. following Sunday's off day and break after pool competition. Live Statistics will be available through Daktronics Webcasts, while scores, statistics and daily recaps will be available throughout the tournament at www.naia.org. Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) def.
