In the season's first NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches' Poll, three Mid-Central College Conference teams were ranked in the top 30.

Huntington (328 votes) begins the regular season ranked No. 11, followed by Taylor (160 votes) at No. 22, and Indiana Wesleyan (91 votes) with a No. 26 ranking.
