The Indiana Wesleyan University women's cross country team automatically qualified for the NAIA National Championships as the Wildcats won the Mid-Central College Conference Championships in Jackson, Michigan.
Sophomore Cassidy Waggoner paced the Wildcats with a seventh place finish. Waggoner completed the 5,000-meter course in a time of 19:03. The next four Wildcats finished within 11 seconds of each other and took all four spots from nine to 12.
Spring Arbor junior Joyce Woki was the individual champion. Woki won the race in a time of 18:29.
