The Bethel Lady Pilots Earned the No. 1 Seed in the MCC Tournament

For the second consecutive season, the Bethel Lady Pilots will be the No. 1 seed in the Mid-Central College Conference Women's Basketball Tournament. Action in the 2009 tournament will get underway Monday, February 23 with the 8/9 play-in game in which Grace will host Goshen at 7 p.m.
Huntington earned the second seed, followed by third-seeded Indiana Wesleyan and fourth seed Taylor. The top four seeds in the tournament will host first round games beginning at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24.
Semifinal games are set to start on Friday, February 27 at 7 p.m. The higher remaining seed in each bracket will host the semifinal matchups.
The tournament championship will be determined on Monday, March 2 at 7 p.m. on the campus of the highest remaining seed.
The MCC Tournament champion will earn an automatic berth to the 2009 NAIA Division II Women's Basketball National Championship to be played March 11-17 in Sioux City, Iowa.
