Taylor University will host the 43rd MCC Track and Field Championships April 24-25 at the George Glass Track and Field Complex on the Upland campus.


Action will get underway at 1:45 on Friday beginning with an open race walk competition.  Following at 2:30 will be preliminary events in the 100 meter dash, 100 (women) and 110 (men) hurdles, and the 200 meter dash.  Finals in the 4 x 800 meter relay and the 10,000 meter run will also be contested on the meet's first day.

Friday's events will include prelims and finals in nine different men's and women's field events. 

Beginning at 2:30 on Saturday, all remaining finals on the track will get started.  The final seven field events will get underway at 1:30.

The awards ceremony is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at the conclusion of the day's events.

The cost of admission per day will be $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for students.
