SAN ANTONIO - The NAIA-Sports Information Directors Association (NAIA-SIDA) announced the winners of 11 publication contests to over 100 winners Saturday at the 2009 NAIA-SIDA Convention on the campus of Our Lady of the Lake University.
Sports Information Directors and staff from Mid-Central College Conference member institutions took home 21 different awards, including five category winners.
From Taylor, Eric Smith won the award for top women's basketball brochure and teamed with Gary Gogis to win best cover for a women's volleyball brochure. Andrew Bowen of Bethel took home the top prize in the men's basketball brochure category. Huntington's Lori Culler, Julie Babb, and Lynette Miller were recognized for the best cover of a women's basketball brochure. Bill Scott and Aaron Suozzi rounded out the MCC winners by creating the best cover in the combined basketball brochure category.
