The Indiana Wesleyan women's soccer team improves one spot to No. 11 in the latest NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll.

The Wildcats are 7-1-1 on the season with their only loss coming at the hands of No. 2 Lindsey Wilson College in the first match of the season. No. 25 Ohio Dominican battled IWU to a 1-1 tie on Sept. 15.

 

Last week the Wildcats knocked off Madonna (Mich.) 2-1 and previously unbeaten Malone (Ohio) 5-0. It was the fourth shutout of the season for the ladies in red.

Wesleyan started this week off on the right foot with a 1-0 win over Taylor and will play host to Grace on Saturday as part of Homecoming festivities.

Spring Arbor has received votes in each of the five polls this season counting the preseason rankings and posts their second-highest vote total (23) this week.

Last week the Cougars posted an 8-0 rout of Rochester College in their only match. This week SAU repeated its performance with a 10-0 shutout at Rochester and will travel to Taylor on Saturday.

Marian has also appeared in the receiving votes section of each poll this season. They have an unbeaten 7-0-1 record. Last week the Knights recorded their sixth and seventh shutouts this season with 3-0 wins over St. Mary's College and Olivet College. Marian has allowed just one goal this season.

Marian takes on Huntington and Saint Francis this week.
