Following an idle week the Taylor men's cross country squad held steady at No. 24 in the latest NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches' Top 25.
Taylor peaked at No. 22 in the preseason poll but has fell one place in each of the last three rankings this year. The Trojans take to Marion, Ind., on Saturday for the IWU Wildcat Invitational.
Spring Arbor, Marian and Indiana Wesleyan each appear in the receiving votes section this week.
The Cougars finished fourth out of 16 teams in the Knight Invitational in Grand Rapids, Mich., last weekend. They run at Lansing Community College on Oct. 3.
The Knights were also idle this week and travel to Chicago for the Loyola Lakefront Invitational this weekend.
After a 13th place finish in the 20-team GRIAC Invitational (8K) the Wildcats will host their own race on Saturday.
Malone University tops the poll for the 26th consecutive week.
