The Mid-Central College Conference (MCC) has launched a redesign of the league's official webpage at www.mid-centralconf.org, commissioner J.D. Collins announced today.

"We are consciously working towards increasing the brand awareness of the MCC," Collins said. "Redesigning the website is the first step in that direction. We are also adding new features to become more comprehensive in our tournament coverage and accessibility."

As part of the branding initiative the league has revamped a trio of online communications including the website redesign, a MCC online mobile page and the creation of a Twitter account.

The website redesign includes the following new features:

  • Championship Central - includes information regarding all 14 conference tournament events including date, time, location, brackets, results and statistics.
  • Team Pages - includes rosters and schedules specific to each school and sport.
  • Award Winners - provides special recognition to academic all-conference award recipients and Players of the Week.
  • Administration Contacts - contact information for not only league administrators, but faculty athletic representatives and athletic directors as well.

The new site continues to provide visitors with information regarding upcoming events, current standings and recent scores.

The MCC is also available on Twitter at www.twitter.com/MidCentralConf. Followers receive updates on conference news and weekly award winners.

"Through our additions and upgrades of the online communication tools we plan to provide the most current and accurate information in an effective manner," Collins said. "We prioritize putting the student-athletes first. These outlets provide the opportunity to recognize their commitment to competing on the national level and representing the character and mission of the MCC."
