Indiana Wesleyan snapped a streak of four consecutive weeks at No. 10 in the NAIA Women's Cross Country Coaches' Top 25 Polls by rising to No. 9 this week.
The Wildcats were rewarded for winning the Bethel Invitational last weekend and recording three of the top five finishes in the six-team event.
IWU is off this week and will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 24 at the NAIA Great Lakes Invitational in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Taylor is one of three new teams to appear in this week's poll. After five straight weeks receiving votes in the national polls, the Trojans are tied at No. 23 with fellow newcomer Doane College (Neb.).
Last weekend Alyssa Johnson recorded her second consecutive 1st place finish, leading the Trojans to third at the Bethel Invitational.
TU will join IWU in Grand Rapids on Oct. 24.
Bethel College has appeared in the receiving votes section of each poll this season.
