After receiving votes in each of the regular season polls, the Marian women's soccer team appears in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 for the first time this season. The No. 16 ranking is the highest in school history dating back to 1999.

Marian is one of just two new teams in the NAIA poll and one of only two remaining undefeated teams in the NAIA with a 13-0-1 (5-0 MCC) record.

Last week the Knights defeated then-No. 9 Indiana Wesleyan 1-0 for the first time in school history. MU tacked on a 4-0 shutout of Goshen to take over first place in the league in the final week of regular season action.

With the loss IWU falls nine spots to No. 18 this week with an 11-2-1 (5-1 MCC) record. Both losses have come against opponents currently ranked in the top 25, including now top-ranked Lindsey Wilson.

Spring Arbor grabbed one vote in the poll with an 8-5-2 (3-1-1 MCC) record.
