Three MCC schools posted top 20 finishes at the NAIA National Cross Country Championships on Saturday in Vancover, Wash.
In the women's draw Spring Arbor finished 13th with 364 points and an overall time of 1:39:01. The Cougars were led by Joyce Woki's 24th place finish and 18:47 time.
Indiana Wesleyan clocked in with a team time of 1:40:16 to collect 428 points and 18th place. The Wildcats were led by Laura Dziagwa's 19:36 time.
Cal State San Marcos won the team championship with an overall time of 2:13:16 while Justyna Mudy from Shorter College took home the individual title with a time of 17:30.
In the men's race Marian checked in at No. 20 with 479 points and a 2:13:49 team time. Kyle Murray led the Knights with 26th place finish (25:47).
Malone finished the race on top with a time of 2:06:26. Oklahoma Christian's Silas Kisorio was the fastes male in the field running 24:23.
Overall, 31 MCC representatives participated in the national event.
