Jim Kessler reached the 600-victory milestone in Grace's 74-73 win over No. 11 Cornerstone on the first day of the Terry Polston Hoops for Hope tournament on Friday.

Kessler entered the season with 592 wins and earned his 600^th win just 11 games into the 2009-2010 season. He has a 600-469 career record and a .561 winning percentage in his 33 years at Grace College.

"Well, it's a product of two things," Kessler said. "You have to have good people around you and you have to be at a place for a long time. I've had great assistants and great players through the years. When you have young men of character around you, you will win your share."
