HUNTINGTON, IN- Huntington University senior Luke Smith reached a significant milestone in his career as a Forester. Heading into the game against Goshen College on January 9, Smith needed just six points to become the 39^th player to join Huntington's 1,000-point club. He reached the mark in the first two minutes of the second half when he knocked down a three-pointer.

To date, he has accumulated 1,012 points in 112 games. For his career, Smith has averaged 9.0 points. Through the first 18 games of his final season, this Rochester High School native is averaging 13.7 points and 4.8 rebounds per contest.
