The Mid-Central College Conference boasts four teams in the first NAIA Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 poll of the new decade, good for second most of any conference in the country (Great Plains Athletic Conference, 5).

Indiana Wesleyan continues to lead the way for the MCC rising two spots to No. 6. The Wildcats have posted a 16-3 record including a current five game win streak and have jumped out to a perfect 5-0 start in league play.

With a 12-6 record (4-1 MCC), the Marian Knights are one of three new teams in the top 25 checking in at No. 14. The Knights posted league wins over top 15 opponents Bethel and Taylor. It's the first time Marian has received votes in the polls this season.

Bethel continued its decline in the polls dropping three spots to No. 18. They sit at 14-5 (3-2 MCC) record. The Pilots' 193 votes are the fewest the team has collected this season.

After starting the season 11-2 and 3-0 in MCC play, an injury-plagued Taylor team has dropped three consecutive games and fallen to No. 23 in the poll. It's their lowest ranking since being slotted the No. 23 team in the preseason poll. The Trojans climbed all the way to No. 10 for two consecutive polls before settling at their current position.

Saint Francis and Huntington both received votes in the poll but join Bethel by collecting their fewest points of the season. The Cougars tallied 38 votes while the Foresters grabbed six.

The top five teams in the poll remain unchanged with Davenport (Mich.) sitting atop the list.
