In the midst of a school-best 12-game winning streak, Indiana Wesleyan (17-3, 6-1 MCC) matched its highest ranking of the season checking in at No. 9. The Wildcats were last ranked ninth in the preseason poll. IWU, who currently holds the best league record, improved six spots after wins over Marian and Grace.
Spring Arbor (15-6, 4-3 MCC) grabbed the last spot in the top 25 as the fourth MCC team represented in the polls. Last week the Cougars stepped out of league play defeating Marygrove College 87-73 for just their second win in their last five outings.
Goshen also received four votes in the poll.
The only undefeated team in NAIA Division II at 17-0 and on a NAIA-record 35-game winning streak, Oklahoma Wesleyan remained at No. 1 for the 10 consecutive poll. The Eagles have not lost since Jan. 20, 2009.
