Continuing to boast four teams in the country's top 25, the MCC contributed four shifts to the 13-team nationwide shuffle in the latest edition of the NAIA Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25.
Heading into the final week of the regular season, Indiana Wesleyan (22-5, 11-2) raised one spot to No. 8 after securing sole position of first place in the league with a two point win over Saint Francis last week.
The Cougars (17-10, 10-3), as a result, dropped one position to No. 12 after spending two weeks at No. 11.
Winners in seven of its last eight outings with the only loss coming to Indiana Wesleyan, Huntington (19-7, 10-4) picked up its highest ranking of the season moving up one spot to No. 17.
One of two new teams in the top 25, Bethel (19-9, 8-6) traded spots with Marian at No. 24 after winning the head-to-head matchup last week, 57-52. The win puts the Pilots in a tie for fourth place with Taylor who is receiving 16 votes in the poll.
Marian also received votes as the sixth place team in the league.
In the final week of action teams are vying for conference tournament position and conference tournament qualification. Highlight matchups pit Bethel vs. Taylor on Wednesday to break the fourth place tie and Goshen vs. Spring Arbor on Saturday could decide the final spot in the eight-team field.
The final regular season poll will be released on Monday, Feb. 22 with the conference tournament opening round on Tuesday, Feb. 23.
