HUNTINGTON, IN-On Saturday, February 20, junior guard Kellen Zawadzki (Tipp City, Ohio/Tippecanoe High School) became the 41st member of Huntington University men's basketball 1,000-point club. Entering the game against Marian University, Zawadzki needed just 12 points to reach the milestone. He finished the game with 18, giving him 1006 career points and putting him 39th on the all-time scorers' list.
Zawadzki is currently averaging 14.4 points per game and leads the team with 62 three-point field goals on the season. Huntington (16-14) returns to action tonight when they travel to Indiana Wesleyan University for the first round of the MCC Tourney.
