Taylor University was slated at No. 23 in the first regular season NAIA Baseball Coaches' Top 25 Poll released by the national office on Tuesday. The Trojans join 11 new teams who did not appear in the preseason poll released on Nov. 17.

The ranking is the program's first since April 12, 2006 when they checked in at No. 22. Taylor has opened the season 19-6 overall and 4-0 in the conference. They posted a 13-game winning streak over a three week period before dropping back-to-back games vs. defending Big Ten champion Indiana University and then-No. 8 Campbellsville (Ky.).

Spring Arbor is receiving votes in the poll with a 15-7 (3-1 MCC) record.
