Bethel holds steady at No. 3 in the latest NAIA Softball Coaches' Top 25 poll released by the national office. The Pilots have appeared in the top five in each of the five regular season polls this season.
After sufferring its only conference loss of the season on Tuesday at the hands of Huntington, BC sits at 7-1 in the MCC and 35-3-1 overall. Avenging the loss to the Foresters in the second game of the double header, Bethel then stepped outside of league action for the remainder of the week and strung together six consecutive wins, outscoring opponents 42-17 in that streak.
Returning to league action this week, Bethel's three double headers are highlighted by a showdown with Marian on Saturday who is receiving votes in the top 25 and sits atop the MCC with an unblemished 10-0 leage mark, 30-4 overall. The Knights currently boast a 10-game winning streak.
