The Bethel College men's soccer team claimed its third consecutive MCC tournament championship with a 4-1 win over Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday night.
 
The Pilots got on the board first thanks to Romulo Nobrega who knocked in a goal at the 13:54 mark of the first half. The game would remain scoreless through the remainder of the first half as each team managed three shots but were unable to capitalize.
 
Early in the second half, IWU got the game tying goal after David Trainer put home the rebound off the save from Pilots goalkeeper Cody Troyer.Later, with the championship on the line and 20 minutes left of the clock, Daniel Moyo stepped up with two big goals to give the Pilots a comfortable 3-1 lead with eight minutes remaining on the clock.
 
Bernardo Sant'Anna added a late goal as time expired and the Pilots went on to the 4-1 victory to advance to their third consecutive NAIA National Championship Opening Round.
