Huntington College's John Ngure represented his college and the Mid-Central College Conference well at the 2003 NAIA Track & Field Championships by winning the 10000 Meter and the Marathon a day and half later.  With those feats, Ngure took home the 2003 Outstanding Performer award.  Ngure won the 10000 M with a time of 30:17.72 and the Marathon with a time of 2:28:27.00.

In the final team standings, Taylor University led the way for the MCC, finishing 6th overall with 34 points, tied with Mid-American Nazarene University.  Lindenwood University won the team championship with 65 points.  Huntington College finished 14th with a score of 20 points.  Goshen College finished tied for 20th with 15 points and Bethel College finished tied for 39th with a score of 8.

John Karanja was the champion in  the 400 M Hurdle with a time of 50.70.  Sininsa Ercegovac of Taylor Univeristy won the Men's Shot Put with a distance of 16.47 M (54-00.50 ft).  Other top finishers from the MCC include:
