        <title>[Women's Soccer] IWU Women's Soccer Gains Highest Ever National Ranking</title>

        <description>&lt;P&gt;Indiana Wesleyan University women's soccer moved up six spots to No. 4 to earn the highest ranking in program history in the NAIA Women's Soccer&amp;nbsp;Coaches' Top 25 Poll released Tuesday.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;div&gt;The Wildcats jumped to No. 4 in the first national ranking after opening the season at No. 10 in the preseason poll. IWU was 3-0-0 at the time of the rankings and were aided in the polls with a convincing 3-1 victory over then No. 4-ranked Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) College.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

        <title>[Women's Soccer] IWU's Marshall, Perrine Honored as NAIA National Players of the Week</title>

        <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;B&gt;MARION, Ind. --&lt;/B&gt; The NAIA recognized the hot start of the Indiana Wesleyan University women's soccer team by naming Megan Marshall the NAIA Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Kristin Perrine as the NAIA Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The national recognition is the first for both Marshall and Perrine. The duo earned the same honors earlier this week in the Mid-Central College Conference.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;No. 10-ranked Indiana Wesleyan answered No. 4-ranked Lindsey Wilson's goal in the 13th minute with three unanswered goals for the huge early season victory.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

        <description>&lt;div&gt;Defending MCC regular season co-champions Indiana&amp;nbsp;Wesleyan and Marian&amp;nbsp;have each returned to the NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Preseason Top 25 Poll, the NAIA announced Tuesday.&lt;/div&gt;
&amp;nbsp;
&lt;div&gt;IWU earned the league's top billing with&amp;nbsp;its No. 10 ranking, one spot higher than it closed out last season with a&amp;nbsp;record of 18-3-1 and a trip to the NAIA National Championship. Marian will start its season the same place it ended last year--at No. 16 in the Top 25 Poll.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

        <title>[Women's Soccer] Bethel's Pete Morey Resigns as Women's Soccer Coach</title>

        <description>&lt;P&gt;Bethel College Athletic Director Mark Lantz announced on Thursday that Pete Morey has announced his resignation as women's soccer coach effective immediately.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Morey, the women's soccer coach since 1998 received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Education from Bethel College where he played varsity soccer, tennis and golf. Morey also went on to receive his master's degree in Business from Bethel.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/div&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; 
&lt;div&gt;Morey has been recognized by his peers as past NCCAA Region Coach of the Year as well as MCC Coach of the Year in 2006.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

        <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;B&gt;DECATUR, Ala. --&lt;/B&gt; Indiana Wesleyan University went the distance with highly ranked Azusa Pacific (Calif.) University but lost 2-1 in a rainy NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship Round of 16 match on Monday morning in Decatur, Alabama.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;No. 13-seed Indiana Wesleyan struck first but fourth-seed Azusa Pacific answered with two unanswered goals to advance to Wednesday's NAIA National Championship Quarterfinals. The match was played with standing water on the field following heavy showers throughout the night and during much of the first half.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;The Wildcats are the No. 13-seed in the 32 team field. A total of 16 Opening Round matches will be played at host sites with the 16 winners advancing to the final round site at Decatur, Alabama from November 30 through December 5.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

        <description>&lt;P&gt;In the ninth edition of the 2009 NAIA National Women's Soccer Players of the Week&amp;nbsp;Flo Atar of Spring Arbor (Mich.) was named &lt;EM&gt;NAIA Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Atar, a 5-8 senior goalkeeper from Troy, Mich., helped Spring Arbor to two wins last week including a 2-1 overtime victory against Marian, giving the Knights their only loss of the season. In that match, Atar stopped five shots on goal in 104 minutes of action. &lt;/div&gt;
&amp;nbsp;
&lt;div&gt;In the 1-0 blanking of Taylor during the conference tournament opening round, she finished with four saves in 90 minutes. Her .780 goals against average is ranked in the Top 40 nationally.&lt;/div&gt;</description>
